Presentation of the party

The Common Sense Party (Sağduyu Partisi) was founded on 4 September 4 2002. It is known as the party of the Naksibendi Sect, lead by Nureddin Cosan after the death of Mahmut Esat Cosan. This group has strong political influence, especially on the religious and conservatist part of the society. The party leader is Mehmet Yücel Agargün.
